set up on VS code, I have (pages.js file open yet there is no code. No HTML files imported from Velo using the Wix Stuido/GitGub transfer to GitHub, from Git hub I created a repo and then cloned it to my VS code… So now I want to see th UI ? So I can experiment and extract, backup , or manupultet the UI. How to?

Sorry, i do not know how to use VS-CODE automatically connected to the GIT-HUB and Wix. I do use VS-CODE manually, that menas → generating CODE in VS and then manually COPY-PASTE it to Wix site into an HTML-Component oder CUSTOM-ELEMENT.

If there is a more automated way to work with VS-CODE, GIT-HUB and Wix, i would also like to know how to do the SETUP.

Maybe you can make a simple example of what exactly you want to create in HTML ?

For example a simple menu?
Something else?

Even more then VS, i do use → JS-Fiddle for all HTML+JS+CSS codings to be implemented on a Wix-Website.

A Website without CODE → has in most cases absolutely low quality, a very poor CUSTOMIZATION-OPTIONS and any OUTSTANDING FEATURES created by your own. Just an ordinary MAIN-STREAM-WEBSITE using all the predefined ELEMENTS provided by wix.

The questioner is asking for CUSTOM-CODING to make his website different (NONE-MAINSTREAM / OUTSTANDING / INDIVIDUAL).

And this is why the user need the VS and also tootls like JS-Fiddle or Code-Pen to be able to manipulate and code HTML-JS-CSS files.

This is why the post-opener is trying to find a connection between VS-CODE/Git-Hub and Wix, to be able to replace the poor integrated HTML-Editing-Option inside the Wix-Editor.

Yes, Wix do offer a lot, but again —> VELO is not HTML.

VELO do not really like HTML. Wix do not really like those who creates their own solutions, this is why the integrated HTML-EDITOR inside the Wix-Editor is that poor without any options and features (just a little input-field where you can drop and save your HTML-CODE, that’s it) by the way, the same for handling the CUSTOM-ELEMENT (at least here you can generate an own file).

Well at least you have the possibility to COPY and PASTE and use the HTML-Comp or CUSTOM-ELEMENT for your own solutions and creations.

Wouldn’t it be cool to have a JS-Fiddle or CodePen like editor-environment, directly integrated inside the Wix-Editor?
