I’m having trouble with increasing my A.I. visibility. Outside of regular SEO updates, is there anything extra that can be done for the algorithm to read my site better on A.I. platforms? I heard adding FAQ Schema is a great start.
This is a great question - especially as more people begin exploring LLMs for their search experience. Increasing AI Visibility is less about traditional backlinks and more about Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
Here’s a few resources that I think might help ![]()
Firstly, I’d highly recommend checking out the Wix Studio AI Search Lab - it’s a great resource that contains research and tactics on brand visibility in AI search.
To answer the question more specifically, there’s three key areas to focus on (which are covered in detail in the AI Search Visibility KPIs guide, which is part of the Search Lab).
- Brand Mentions & Sentiment: AI models rely on “clusters” of information. Increasing the frequency and - more importantly - the positive sentiment of your brand mentions across the web helps LLMs “associate” your brand with specific expert topics.
- Information Accuracy: LLMs can hallucinate. Ensuring your site has clear, structured data and a robust “About Us” page helps these bots retrieve factual information rather than guessing.
- Citations & Sources: Just like SEO has backlinks, AI search has “Citations.” You can actually track which LLMs are visiting your site via your sites analytics and see which pages they are retrieving most often.
There’s also the AI Visibility Overview tool within your sites dashboard that can help you benchmark your brand against competitors for specific prompts.
Hope this helps!
