How can I improve my Wix website AI visibility?

I’m having trouble with increasing my A.I. visibility. Outside of regular SEO updates, is there anything extra that can be done for the algorithm to read my site better on A.I. platforms? I heard adding FAQ Schema is a great start.

This is a great question - especially as more people begin exploring LLMs for their search experience. Increasing AI Visibility is less about traditional backlinks and more about Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).

Here’s a few resources that I think might help

Firstly, I’d highly recommend checking out the Wix Studio AI Search Lab - it’s a great resource that contains research and tactics on brand visibility in AI search.

To answer the question more specifically, there’s three key areas to focus on (which are covered in detail in the AI Search Visibility KPIs guide, which is part of the Search Lab).

  1. Brand Mentions & Sentiment: AI models rely on “clusters” of information. Increasing the frequency and - more importantly - the positive sentiment of your brand mentions across the web helps LLMs “associate” your brand with specific expert topics.
  2. Information Accuracy: LLMs can hallucinate. Ensuring your site has clear, structured data and a robust “About Us” page helps these bots retrieve factual information rather than guessing.
  3. Citations & Sources: Just like SEO has backlinks, AI search has “Citations.” You can actually track which LLMs are visiting your site via your sites analytics and see which pages they are retrieving most often.

There’s also the AI Visibility Overview tool within your sites dashboard that can help you benchmark your brand against competitors for specific prompts.

Hope this helps!

At the start of the year I was collecting tips on AI visibility all across the internet, I can share my checklist here:

-Get detailed reviews on Google, G2, Trustpilot - ones that describe you in various contexts and clearly say how you can help

-Participate in forums and discussions, earn good mentions in relevant topics

-Post on Facebook communities, ask LinkedIn influencers for promo-posts (or do similar stuff on platforms that make sense for your brand)

-Adapt your website with AI-oriented prompts on some pages. You can get those prompts from Profound, but it’s expensive, there are cheaper alternatives like Beamtrace, for example. You can find even more of them

-Improve structure, make clear FAQs with answers that have chances to appear in brief AI overviews.

-Add schema markup

-Make social media pages and post useful stuff + explain your business there

Also, as Noah mentioned, Wix has their analytics tool to help you know your visibility.
