how do i change the recipient of the notification on a form submission?

previously in the “old forms” it was so easy to find and change. Now, with the “new forms” I spent two hours to try and change the email and still didn’t find it.

Currently the once the form is submitted, I receive a notification to my email. However I want the registration manager to receive it. I understand the new forms is all about automations. on the automations dashboard. I have “form submission” as a trigger and then I have “send an email” as an action. on the left I went to “set recipients” but cant seem to get the email I need on there…

Please help

You’re correct, and almost there! The difference between old forms and the new flow is you’ll need to set the person you want to receive the email as a contact, rather than simply inputting an email.

This has a couple of benefits - for example, if you have 10 automations with the send an email attached to a single contact, any future updates of that contacts email will automatically be updated in the automations. No more manually updating 10 automations

I did set up the email I wish to receive the form submission as “collaborator” in “roles”.
I ma not sure I am doing the automation right, I chose “send an email” as an action but maybe that is only for sending an email to the person who submitted the form. I just need a simple notification to our registration manager as a form is submitted.

That’s perfect - if the person you want to receive the email is a collaborator, this is also a valid approach.

Send an email is definitely the right action too. I tend to find if you need different info in each email, then 2 send an email actions works best. One for the person who submitted the form, and the other for thos within your team/clients/managers etc who need the info too

I now have a long list of automations which I am trying to sort out. some are new and some from the past. How do I know which automation is connected to which form?
