I’m trying to provide my client with a few email addresses. Like [clientname] at business.com, info@business.com, [assistantName]@business.com. When I bought my personal premium editor X subscription, I swear I remember being able to add a bunch of aliases like that. Now when I try to do that from google’s admin console, it says I only have one license, and that only 5 email addresses would be 45 dollars?
But when looking at Wix’s pricing, it says even in starter
“Give everyone on your team an email address with your custom domain.”
Bluehost’s reseller email plans are 20 dollars a year for 25 email inboxes. If it’s really 45 dollars just for 5 with Wix, I won’t be buying any inboxes from Wix.
Hey Nathaniel,
If you go to the admin.google.com admin page, log into the admin account of “@business.com” in Google, then you can go to your 1 user, so - Directory>User>Select the user, then you can click on “Add Alternative emails”
In that way, you can add up to 30 Aliases all going into a single mailbox.
Not sure if this solves your issue, but in that way, you can create info@, support@, etc@ while managing it from a single account, and only paying once.
Hi Randall,
Thanks for the response. For these email aliases, can they be sent to different inboxes? My client needs a few for the receptionist, complaints, bookings, and so on. Can I forward them to different people, or are all the aliases under one person? What I mean is will the owner receive all the emails being sent to the aliases, or can they be sent to different people?
Hey @Nathaniel_Reeves
They would all go into the main inbox but you could set up rules that would automatically forward the email into other email accounts.
Is not ideal but hopefully a workable solution.
