How to get rid of Vertical Scrolling on WIX

So, I am pretty sure this question has been asked many times but I can’t seem to find an answer that works. On my HOMEPAGE, I have a STRIP element with 2 pictures. The goal is to have the two images take up the entire home page; there is no HEADER or FOOTER, just the two images. With the STRIP element, I successfully got rid of the HORIZONTAL scrolling since the images fit the entire width of the WIX editor. But I can not do the same for the VERTICAL scrolling.

Like many others, no matter how much I stretch the STRIP down, it keeps extending the overall vertical length of the site. I made sure to disable the HEADER/FOOTER from the homepage. But still, no luck. In the PREVIEW, I succeed in not being able to scroll vertically, but there is still black space below the images.

Is there a way to sort of LOCK or CHANGE the overall extends of the site on the EDITOR? Again, my goal is for the home page to just be 2 big images, visitors can NOT scroll up/down or left/right. They will click on either image and continue. Any help will be appreciated, I am not experienced with CODE. I included images below

Hi there :wave:t2: What you are trying to accomplish cannot be done using the Wix editor. Normal Wix sites are not responsive, so all units are pixel based which display differently depending on the device. So even if you got it perfect for your computer, someone else’s device would display it differently.
But this CAN be accomplished using Wix’s Editor X , where you can set elements to display as a percentage of the viewport height .

I see. So I started using the editor X, liking it so far. Below is an image of the example I am trying to replicate on Wix. Where the home page is simply 2 images, and there are no vertical/horizontal bars. Do you think it’s possible with Editor X?

Absolutely! Glad to hear you’re getting rolling with it. Just create a strip with 2 columns like you did in the other editor, but set the strip’s minimum height to 100vh (=100% of the screen height)

@lmeyer Sorry to keep bugging you, I looked through several tutorial videos and read through the support page but i cant seem to find the STRIP tool, that is in the original Wix editor. Is it under a different name on Editor-X? The closest I could find is the EMPTY BOXES under the CONTAINER tool. Is this it? Thank you in advance again, you’ve been a great help
