Some of our site members are flagged as having an inactive email address. Wix excludes inactive email addresses from the email campaign. As a result the affected members are not getting any of the notifications from the website.
In “About Active and Inactive Contacts” it says " Any inactive contacts automatically become active again once they open an email campaign or an email from an automation they’ve triggered. " For that to happen they need to receive the email campaign in the first place!
Am I missing something obvious or is there a way to change the email status back to active?

Same problem. This has worked for me in some cases: Select the contact, check the box at left, begin an email campaign and write a simple text email with subject like Reactivate Notifications, select recipients (just the one) and send email. When they open the email, Wix will detect and remove the ‘inactive’ status. As I said, it has not worked in all cases.
Is there a way to manually change the status?
