When clients make a booking they fill out specifc infomation. I have a form where I have added a new box to fill in with clients id-number.
This information is however not translated and saved in the client information.
Is there any way of making sure that the information added in by the clients on the webbsite is saved in the client contact information?

if this is a separate field, it won’t be connected with the form to store the data, users are filling in
So the the form is a booking form, I did however add a new field for text input… so would that mean that the information from that field is not transfered to the contact information? You would think that all information filled in a form is somehow saved?

If it was added to the booking form, you should see that information within the contact card for the customer . For example, here is a contact from my test site in which I added Shoe Size for since it’s a bowling site. I can find their information in their contact card.
