Import upload of CSV failed and is frozen

I’ve uploaded an import of 126 products from a CSV (I’ve done imports a few times successfully). The CSV format looks OK.

114 of the products imported succeeded and work fine, but 12 didn’t succeed. Those that didn’t just had a “spinning wait” on the dashboard product manager, for 14 hours, like they were never going to work.

I manually deleted the failed products from the dashboard product manager.

Now the dashboard “product import button” is permanently greyed out, so I’m unable to kill that failed import job, and am unable to import any more products. It’s like the failed import job has frozen and disabled further import until it’s finished.

Additionally there are still three images with spinning waits, seemingly never going to succeed, and these can’t be killed.

I’m stuck and grateful for any help. Thank you.

Doesnt it stop if you just close the editor and reopen it?

Unfortunately no, I also logged in on another PC and the import is still greyed. It seems the problem may be server side.

Your csv file might be corrupted.
