i know this is a common question, as i’ve seen posts on the topic since 2023. still, i haven’t seen a solution to it yet so i must ask again:
is there a way to convert sites from the old editor into wix studio?
as for the answers i’ve seen so far, the only solution now is to build my entire site from scratch. this isn’t an option for me, as i’ve worked very hard on the design and structure of site (i guess most of you did too, and that’s why we are looking for solutions).
i desperately need a way to work on my site in wix studio.
or at least find a way to copy most of my pages and layout.
i’d love some help asap!

Unfortunately, there’s currently no built-in migration path from the Classic Editor to Wix Studio—and it’s unlikely that one will be introduced anytime soon, if ever.
At this time, the only option is to rebuild the site from scratch. If you’d like help with that, I specialize in manually rebuilding Classic Wix sites in Wix Studio. I’ve been doing this since 2023 and have already rebuilt every one of my clients’ sites with 100% design accuracy. I’m extremely comfortable with the Studio editor and can complete the transition very quickly.
I can’t believe it’s been so long and there still isn’t a way to do so. very frustrating! @wix-team please, could you give a rough estimation on how much longer we’d have to wait? thank you.
I currently have early Alpha access to this feature and using it on a clients site as we speak.
Very impressed so far, all the backend stays the same, contacts, store, subscriptions, cms, etc But as Dan says, you have to create a new front end from scratch.
