Question:
I was curious if anyone has had an issue with a WIX partner. I had an issue with one of my websites and asked for some assistance from a WIX partner. A couple of people reached out to me but unfortunately the one I choose took my money but did not perform the work. I asked for my money back but the company (individual) stopped taking my calls. Has anyone else had this type of experience? who do I escalate to, to make sure WIX is aware of the issue?

Sorry that a Wix Partner has done this. What were they paid to do ? Was the scope clear ? did you recieve a quote ? Was there a timeline agreed upon?
If you went through the Wix Marketplace then you should be able to put a complaint.
he offered to renew my yearly subscription at a redused rate because he had discount coupons. I took his offer at face value but later after I was charged the full price by WIX found out that he had no authorization to renew my premium subscription. When I approached him, he basically stop returning my calls and emails. Who do I speak with at wix to make sure this guy doesn’t rip anyone else off. I have invoices from him that reflect he was paid
Just for future reference - Only the site owner can renew/purchase premium plans.
This platform is not the place to name and shame, which you havn’t, thankyou. Unfortunately there will be people that try take advantage of others. I am unsure if the person you delt with has any connection to Wix.
Possibly send a message to Noah Lovell with the details, who may be able to pass on to the team to investigate.
