Keyboard disappears on mobile site every time customer tries to type

Hi all,

I am having issues with the mobile version of my site. When customers need to use their keyboard (forms, quantity selector and checkout) the onscreen keyboard will minimise after a second or two of being open.

On top of that, the pages on the site will randomly refresh if you’re on them for over a minute.

I have tested this myself and unless you are extremely patient, it’s impossible to use the site properly and 95% of my visitors use a mobile device.

I have reported the issue and it has been escalated, but it’s been a week now and no progress has been made. I am now into four figures of missed sales because of it.

Has anyone had this issue before or can anyone recommend something I can try whilst I wait for the escalation team to find a fix for it?

I’m also unable to reproduce. Do you happen to know if this is happening on specific devices/OSs?

I’ve had reports from multiple mobile users, but it seems to be mostly iPhone users. It has already been reported with reference 1811584738, but I have a screen recording from last night so it is definitely still an issue.
