Links to collections no longer appear on page in editor

When you create a table, Wix has always put a link to the collection you’re using off to the side in the margins for quick reference. In the attached picture I have 6 tables. I used to be able to see icons for the collections that each table was linked to - 3 on the right and 3 on the left.

I just logged in and all the collections are gone. I have 22 individual team pages, and each page also had a table for the team roster and a table for the schedule. Those collection icons are gone as well. I even loaded up a saved version of the page from a month ago when this wasn’t an issue and those collection icons are gone as well.

All of these collections are still there in the CMS tab, but it’s a pain to navigate to them that way to update data. Can someone explain how to get them back? I’ve tried the obvious drag/drop and checking settings with no luck.

Hi Michael,

I believe you are taking about the dataset icons.

Yes, Wix has removed those little icons and you can’t bring them back, but you can still access them from the side panel. Here’s a detailed article about that:

Ah - thanks for the explanation, that makes sense.

I played around with it and it’s pretty user-friendly but I do have one additional question. When I view the list of datasets shown on the right, each page has one “global” dataset that doesn’t belong. That’s because it was a dataset for the Pirates page that ended up dragged into the site header, so now it registers as global.

Any idea how to lock that dataset to a specific page now that I can’t manually move them around?
