Lock Elements in the Editor #featurerequest

Hello,

That would be AWESOME if we could have the option to LOCK ANY ELEMENT in the Editor to prevent our clients from breaking the layout when they make modifications.

I know they aren’t supposed to go in the Editor, but you can’t always use data collections, blogs, etc… and some nice designs aren’t easy to update outside the Editor.

For example, my clients often want to make their changes (in the “slide strip” for example) and, because I can’t lock the rest, I often have to repair their small mistakes and it’s driving me crazy !!!

Do you have a workaround for that ? Is the “lock option” coming anytime soon ?

Thanks. I already voted many times for this feature :wink: What I don’t understand is that the lock option was available on the previous Wix version. Why has it disappeared ? It such a mus have !

@costino80 gotcha - sometimes older features are retired in order to introduce better, more function-rich features.
