I created my site’s mobile version in wix. I edited it in computer. It looks good in the computer mobile view but looks very different in an actual mobile. The size in all reduced and the colour is different (faded and bright). Plz help me with it.
I experienced this week with a project and i was pretty annoyed cause stuff was even moving around. My suggestion is don’t test on the mobile view of WIX. Get an actual mobile near you and test it out on a physical device. I also noticed that from device to device some stuff changes (depending on the screen size) and on ipads the desktop version is shown. I hope you can fix your issues easily (:
Mariona is right about the scaling and spacing, but your concern with color has nothing to do with Wix. All devices have different screens and are calibrated differently.
Hey that means wix sites are not responsive. They dnt respond to the devices to fit into the screen. Ok i solved the colour issue. I called wix support and found that lower versions of anderoid give colour issues. I checked in a higher version of anderoid and the colour was pretty good. But the sizes…i wanted my strips to fit in the screen. Theres no way to do that. Responsive sites have been requested by many people, but wix is doing nothing about it.
Btw thank you all
Nope wix is not responsive and its so dumb of them not to be responsive. I an seriously considering switching to another platform
I thought of that too…but u c i cant find a better platform than wix to make a site. I tried weebly and wordpress…they are all so primitive…
Lets try requesting this feature more. I voted for this feature in the request page and told all my friends to do so. M gonna call their service again for this feature. Hope they will react if too many people pressurize
This feature has been in the making supposedly from early last year… its just impossible for them to male it ughhhh search squarespace and webflow they are both really good
i tried squarespace…but its feels really tight. Maybe coz i m too adjusted with wix. Anyway I’ll see. Thanx Mariona!
It’s not that Wix isn’t already working on responsiveness, they’ve added many more responsive features in the past year - it’s that the foundation on which it’s built makes it extremely difficult without breaking all of your current sites, and completely changing the way the editor works.
Webflow is significantly more expensive, but I agree it’s a great option. Squarespace is only slightly better than Wordpress.
