Question:
Where can I find wixchat onMessageSent function documentation?

Wix Editor

What are you trying to achieve:
I want to know more details information about onMessageSent function of Wix Chat.

What have you already tried:
So, I tried to find it on velo documentation web page as usual. Velo Docs
But I couldn’t find it. I used search bar to find it. When I clicked the searched results, it’s redirect me to this page. https://dev.wix.com/docs/velo/velo-only-apis/$w/chatbox/on-message-sent
It doesn’t contains any information related to onMessageSent function.
I even used velo assistant and wix customer support AI chatbot.
It’s no use.

Additional information:
I attached to prove the function does exist.

It does seem that the documentation related to $w has disappeared. :thinking:

Yeah, they moved some under random title.
I just can’t find anything related to wix chat element.
They should update the search function to accurately search latest documentation. :smiling_face_with_tear:

It might be due to significant changes in the references as Velo is in the process of transitioning to the SDK. This is just a prediction, but I believe it will be resolved soon. If you need it right away, you could consider asking the forum manager. :upside_down_face:

The problem is fixed after directly communicating with velo team in discord.
