None of my blog posts are indexing according to Google Search Console even though I have each blog post checked to index?

Question:
None of my blog posts are indexing according to Google Search Console even though I have each blog post checked to index. They are not archived blog posts. I would love to know how to fix this.

What are you trying to achieve:
None of my blog posts are indexing according to Google Search Console even though I have each blog post checked to index. I would like each of the blog posts to show up on Google searches.

What have you already tried:
Checking site settings for indexing permissions.

Additional information:

Google can take a while to index pages. From a few hours to a few weeks, or even longer. I’ve had pages set to be indexed that I found were still “discovered” but not indexed even 6-8 months later. Using the same Search Console, you can use the “URL Inspector” feature to manually request indexing which will speed this process up and index pages right away. There is a daily quota though, and this shouldn’t be relied on heavily.

On URL inspection tab, search the URL you want to index. It should come up saying that it is not indexed and there will be a “request indexing” button.

From my own experience with GSC, if you have pages held under “Discovered - not indexed” then manually submitting them may get them indexed quicker. If you have pages held under “Crawled - currently not indexed” then you may have a problem with the page content being either too thin, or to too similar to other pages, and therefore G picks the one they want. If it’s the latter you might want to look at ways of differentiating the content on these pages.

Getting pages indexed is getting harder to achieve these days. It’s unlikely you’ll get them all indexed. Some may also get indexed and then drop out again at a later date.
