Question:
When I try to click on the link to a page from the homepage, the link doesn’t work and I get the message ‘Page Not Found’

What are you trying to achieve:
I want it to link to the page, and also to understand why this happened to see whether it’s an error on my behalf, or a bug.
What have you already tried:
I’ve already tried putting in the links again. The slug is correct. A friend, who is helping me build the site, and checked it as well. I also tried using the chatbot, but didn’t have any luck with it. I’ve attached screenshots of the situation.

I found that redirected URL is /oldenthusiast. It should be/enthusiast. Have you published your website after editing the redirect link?

Here’s the simplest workaround. While linking the button, choose the URL option and simply copy paste the URL of the page you want to link to. Voila!
Hi, thanks for the reply. I’ve tried altering the URL to enthusiast, but it still keeps trying to link to old enthusiast. I’ve hit the publish button again, but doesn’t seem to have any effect.

Here are some notes I took when I solved a similar issue that troubled me in the past. Feel free to take a look (though it might not be related at all. If that’s the case, I apologize in advance 
).
If you encounter an issue where the old URL is being redirected after changing the page URL in Wix, try the following steps:

Clear your browser cache: It’s possible that the browser has cached the previous URL. Clear the cache and reload the page to fetch the latest version.

Check redirect settings in Wix: Go to Dashboard > SEO > Redirect Manager(Alternatively, you can type “Redirect” into the search box at the top of the dashboard to find the settings).

Then as @onemoretime mentioned, it is indeed happening due to a redirect that Wix automatically creates whenever you update a page slug. So I’d suggest you go to your site’s redirect manager, delete any redirects that are there, and then go back to the editor and link the button once again. See if this solves the issue.
