Nav suddenly linking to 2 old pages, 404 error. Even rebuilt the nav and getting same issue. So glitchy! Any advice?

Had a client report this issue: 2 pages in dropdown menu suddenly linking to old pages and even old slugs that don’t exist anymore, resulting in 404 errors. Re-linking, renaming, even rebuilding the menu completely not working. Any ideas?

Make sure there are no automatic redirects created under the 301 URL Redirect Manager in your site’s dashboard that may be pointing to these old slugs.
