please help me to create a simple custom html page!

Hello. I am hoping you can help me! I need to create a really simple html page (Typeform) on my wix website, but without embedding it as an iframe.

We use Typeform to ask customers personality-based questions, and then depending on the results of the questions, we direct them back to a relevant page on our website.

At the moment, the typeform is hosted on the typeform domain, but we really want to host it on our domain (but not in an iframe).

The current user journey is: visitors come to our website, hit the home page, click on the link to go to the typeform quiz, which then takes them off-domain (to our typeform) and then once they have completed the typeform quiz it then directs them back to the relevant page on our website.

The problem with this is that users can see the typeform url in the address bar when they go off domain (which doesn’t look very professional), and also (more importantly) this messes up our Google Analytics and doesn’t allow us to create a nice funnel.

So I really want to insert the Typeform into my wix website. But I don’t want it to appear in an iframe. The problem with the iframe embed is that makes the typeform unresponsive, and because most of our traffic is mobile, we really need to make sure the typeform remains responsive. Also, because the typeform is really long and requires a lot of scrolling, the iframe makes the scroll bars appear on the edge of the iframe rather than on the edge of the main window, which doesn’t look very professional.

In typeform, I can grab the HTML code so that it can be pasted directly into the code of a webpage. I just don’t know how to create this page on Wix, without using the embed iframe option.

I don’t need any navigation bars etc, just a nice simple plain page, with the standard wix SEO and GA codes, and then the typeform HTML between the body tags.

Alternatively, if this is not possible, perhaps there is some js code that could work with the html iframe embed to do the following:

a) make the iframe responsive so that the content still renders well on mobile, and
b) make the iframe as long as the content within in, so that the iframe doesn’t need to have scroll bars, and instead the user can use the main window scroll bars?

Please can you help?!

Many thanks!
Richard.

This is not going to work very good in Wix I am afraid. I have some customers who have Typeforms on their site but then they have inside a HTML Component and have that resized as good as they can but you will loose some responsiveness using this yes. Best would maybe to open the typeform in a modal window, have you tried that using code? Look in the API Reference for wixWindow.
