Repeater: Not showing in A->Z order.

Hi Everyone! I’m finally back to Wix Code and Databases.

I have just created my first repeater. My content (Page Title (Vegetable Name), Recipe Title, Recipe Photo, etc.) are in alphabetical order according to vegetable name (Page Title) in my sandbox database and in my synced live database. For some reason, the content will not show up in A to Z order no matter what I do. I check the live database when I toggle within the sandbox view, and it keeps changing its order. I have the same problem. I put my items in alphabetical order in my database, and when I view my site they are in a totally different order.

Have you sorted your dataset before connecting it to the repeater?

You can also code it in case it does not work

Ana, I believe I had sorted the dataset before connecting it to the repeater, and then I sorted again and again to see if I could get it to work. How might I go about coding this property? Thank you for you help.

Hi,
Did you verify that the Dataset is sorted by “Page Title” via the Dataset Settings panel?

Hi Ofer! Yes, I did. It probably can’t hurt for me to disconnect and reconnect to see if that works…Thank you.

Problem solved! Although I remember setting the sorting, it was no longer there. Thank you, everyone!

I encountered the same problem! I found it in the layer (on the right side, there is a red exclamation point icon). Just click on it, and the dataset icon will appear! (so difficult to find it~)
