Replacing old domain name with new domain
I have a customer who has discovered a spelling error in his domain.
This has resulting in the need to replace the incorrect domain name with a new one on his Wix website.
I have never done this before and would like to ensure that it is done correctly, including the DNS pointing from the old domain to the new one.
Has anyone experienced this before and can provide me with some advice?"
He’ll need to purchase another domain. So if he has DomainX and meant DomainY he’ll need to purchase DomainY (as long as DomainY is available)
Thanks, he has already bought the right domain. The issue is, that he now need to replace the old domain at his Wix site with the new domain. This is where I need a bit help. How do we make sure we do it all correct and how do we do it.
Should be an option in Settings and Domain to ‘Assign to a Different Site’
