Question:
How do I make my embed video player responsive across all devices.

I have been using wix for years now and for the first time I am using Wix Studio.

I have added a youtube playlist video player using the iframe embed option. I have set the player size in the code and also same size on the webpage via the wix studio editor. The desktop version works great. But when viewing in Tablet and Mobile phone view the player does not auto resize to fit the screen.

If I edit the player size in the tablet editor or mobile phone editor it resizes across all devices.

How do I set the video player to auto resize for all devices?

You can do it easily by using the playlist URL instead of messing around with embed codes. Here’s how:

  1. Get the Playlist URL: First, find the link to the playlist you want to use (like from YouTube or Spotify).
  2. Use Wix’s Embed Feature:
  • In your Wix Editor, click on the “+” button to add a new element.
  • Choose “Embed” and then select “Embed a Site” or “HTML iframe.”
  • Instead of using the embed code, simply paste the playlist URL directly into the URL field.
  1. Preview and Publish: After you add the URL, preview your site to make sure the playlist displays correctly. Once you’re happy with it, go ahead and publish your site!
