@code-queen i was promised by my account manager !!! And others in this thread were promised with the same. and it’s 26 days for 2020 , how long we should wait again for such important feature , in fact the most important feature !!
Kerolles, Wix never releases anything until it’s ready. I’m sorry someone promised you.
@brett-haralson Yes i was promised for this to buy a 30 premium account 10 of them e-commerce with 50% discount and my only concern was the responsive issue and the response was by the end of 2019 !!! a new builder will be released with responsive features ! i think you heard this before or you knew about this plan, i shouldn’t say that or disclose this phone call with it’s offer , but here we go since someone like @code-queen still see that we shall wait “for eternity” , i am faithful user for wix that’s the point i have been using this platform since 2012 until now and i am comfortable with it , and i wish really to not be pressed to change to another new platform like weebly or whatever.
Thanks Kerolles. I’m going to look into this.
@code-queen I think the appropriate comment would be:
“Good things come to paid Wix users those that wait… and wait… and wait…ad infinitum.”
Every single passing month that wix doesn’t implement responsive abilities, all other WYSIWYG editors seem more alluring.
I just simply cannot comprehend how the company and developers dropped the ball on this…
You guys know right that over 52% of the entire worlds traffic goes through a mobile device?
You know that squarespace/webflow/shopify and all other platforms are making responsive design as part of their core customer offering?
@gsobak that’s it , you said what i am trying to say and explain , i really wish we will have something by the end of this year …
I moved to Squarespace with my client, unfortunately, bc I do like WIX. My client really wanted that responiveness. I think if there would be a tablet view, a third one you could customize I would have stayed. I mean, desctop, tablet and mobile that would respond when making a desctop window smaler. I could live with that „fake“ responive design … but unfortunately Wix does not seem to care if they would, they would at least keep their customers clearly informed where they are at with this issue.
I am thinking of squarespace as well! How easy was the transition?
it’s almost february 2020 and i really feel desperate of this attitude . no way in 2020 and we still asking for a responsive builder !!! wix doesn’t have anyone who do little market research and analysis ??? your priority is the responsive websites , any other features are worthless since we don’t have a responsive site !!! i hope someone understand this
I think you will be happy soon enough.
Also: I’m closing this old thread. We try not to bump super old posts like this.
@brett-haralson close it when it’s done? not while the problem still exists !!! i will call it disrespect for customer needs if you close it and i will close my account directly too if you did it!!!
