Since late 2016, I’ve had a Wix site, DoorJam Creations, where I posted the stuff I created that I felt like posting, including my graphic design portfolio, webcomics, and original writings. The site is presently still up, and this April, I finally decided to create my own Internet Archive account, to save older versions of my website (it had been previously saved by other people since August 8, 2018, and you can view my saves here).
As you’ll notice upon seeing the saves, many of the Wix effects don’t work, such as clicking on one of the main boxes, like “Writings”, on the home page to open the accompanying lightbox, or the webcomic issues not appearing on their devoted pages, or certain Wix animations not happening.
I tried contacting the Internet Archive about this in April, when I started saving my site, but I didn’t hear back from them yet. So, I was wondering if Wix had anything special, like a plug-in or something, to make all the Wix material, including animations, lightboxes, etc., appear on all, or future IA saves.
