I am trying to make my website safe and accessible for my users. Currently it is flagged on google for suspicious/malicious activity however i have not put anything suspicious or dangerous in there on purpose at all.
I have run my own scans on my website which say that there is no problem, I have been in contact with wix, McAfee and attempted to get in touch with google but all they have is automated replies and general help articles .
If anyone has experienced this themselves or knows how i can go about resolving this problem or even just making my website safer in general that would be great as I have no tech knowledge at all.
UPDATE: On google search console it also says that there are 0 security issues associated with my domain link therefore my website, yet it is still flagged for suspicious activity when i test it as a user on my laptop here.
Yes my domain provider is wix.Thank you for the advice on the email, i will remove that from the home page. I don’t know a lot about tech so would it be possible if you explained a little more in detail what bad scripts, DNS and ema misconfigurations are and if you know how to solve them please?
If your search console is not showing any errors. You can submit the site for review. That will fix it. It’s a thing with chrome and other extension that uses Google or chromium.
It wont let me upload screenshots for some reason its telling me that new users cant. Its just a Mcaffe warning saying the link is suspicious from something called PUPS and when you search it on google and all of the options come up it has a little orange exclamation mark next to the link. This is what is worrying me about scaring customers away and damaging my reputation.
When i go on there and select my domain, there is no follow through buttons onward from that point in the abusive experience report there is no submit button or anything. And on the google search console it says there are 0 security issues.
