SSL does not work on free sites #SSL

As a designer, i would like to know why free sites don’t seem to support SSL

What are you trying to achieve:
My customer would like her site to be secure and found as a secure site

I have a valid SSL certificate

Wix sites have SSL out of the box. Do you have any more info that might help?
