I am a graphic & web designer. I used Wix for the first time to create a website for my client, and although I was quite impressed with Wix overall, I ran into a problem.
I created a Wix account for the client, set up a premium plan using their credit card, and built them a website. The problem is, when I emailed support about a few minor issues, the replies get sent to my client’s email and there is apparently no other way to access these replies. You can imagine how cumbersome it is to have my client forward each email!
All other platforms I use (Wordpress theme creators, plugin creators, etc.) have a support ticket area on their website. Therefore when I log into my client’s accounts I can view and reply to those tickets without needing my client’s email.
Please add a support ticket section to the Wix backend. Web designers such as myself will be much more inclined to consider Wix as a serious alternative to Wordpress if some of these basic features are added.
I imagine for now I should have created the client’s website on my own account and then migrated it?
