I have set up a custom form on a dynamic item page based on a collection. The form submission works as expected. I would like to create an automation based on that form submission, but the trigger CMS forms does not show up when I create an automation from scratch.
The form contains one input field, is connected to the collection with a dataset (read&write). The site is published.
I am successfully running such automations based on cms forms on other pages, but it does not work in that specific case. Does the system need some time until the option shows up?

No, i could not solve it, neither wix support. I use now webhooks to connect to zapier. It was worth it to learn the concept of webhooks.
(Wix support came up with the strange idea of not using dynamic pages which was clearly not possible in my scenario.)

@user643 I came up against the same issue. I was trying to create a landing page of sorts with a lead magnet that once people signed up would go into a chain of automated emails (drip fed content emails) and the CMS Forms did not work at all. So here is what I did instead and seems to be working so far.
Customers & Leads (in your dashboard)–>Forms & Submissions–>Create form–>Website design–>+Add elements–> Contact & Forms–>Premade Form–>Choose the form you want to add and incorporate it into your design–> Go to your Automations–>Fix Forms Forms Submitted–>Specific–>Choose the form you need then carry out the rest of your automation as you need to.
Hope this helps. I’ve spent the best part of two days trying to get CMS to work to no end.
