Why are Lightboxes painfully slow? And I am not taking about the “trigger delay” that can be set in the settings panel … What is Wix doing to fix this essential element ? People have been bringing up this issue ever since the time of " Black Panther’s release. I wish they would at least give us some why or when. We don’t know but maybe LB is such a complex design element to debugg or sth.
Here’s a fun fact. This element is such a versatile one in the Wix editor, i mean we have articles online like “how to use LB as a menu”, "how to build a wix site with only light boxes,… we have pre-designed LB to serve as contact form side bar. If i m not mistaken, even the native Login and password page works on LB technology. But… yet it is unprofessionally slow to the extend of being unresponsive sometimes.
