here i am in 2026 still having a problem related to this. i’m running a promotion wherein i want the URL slug for the promo page to simply be either W T F or w t f (i’m having to type this with spaces in this forum as apparently wix doesn’t allow this acronym to be typed here in said forum without spaces. ok.) with the former acting as a simple redirect to the latter if not just a duplicate page. however now it appears wix simply won’t allow users to even type capital letters in URL slug options so i’m stuck with “w t f” and only “w t f” which is not going to look great on a promotional flyer for an event when the event itself that this is attached is called “W T F” and furthermore “W T F” is an obvious and generally capitalized acronym. i’ve tried multiple times to make a page with a URL slug of “/W T F” and wix’s UI just immediately forces the letters to turn into lower case after i type them out and leave the form. really frustrating.
Although I don’t have the specifics of why this is the case (I imagine it’s probably a technical one), there is a solution that might work for your case - a 301 redirect.
Redirect /WTF to /wtf so that you can use the /WTF on your promotional flyers, but when people visit yoursite.com/WTF, they’ll land on the page that Wix supports
