Why is wix page load speed so slow?

I use wix studio

My site is very basic despite that it takes a lot of time. Except for wix blog and wix chat, I don’t have any other applications installed.

Even wix blog posts are darn slow.

I have tried all the suggestions mentioned → small image sizes, no animations or gifs or videos, not many third party apps etc to no avail

I read every where that wix is only good for mvp websites not for long term use as it is abysmal when it comes to page load speed.

How does wix plan to resolve this?
