The fact that I have to post this here and am not even sure where else to post it, is testament to my frustration.
If there is a bug or an obvious technical issue I don’t know who to ask or how to get advanced support.
If I try to use the usual help support I have to wait for a callback. Sometimes I can’t take a phone call, but it’s the only option.
If I do get someone on the phone it’s some random non-tech person who has no idea how to answer my adavanced developer questions and I have go through the same process of conveying that I need more advanced help. It can take days. I stopped going this route. Too frustrating and time consuming when I have an urgent issue to resolve.
If I post here, I sometimes get an answer from the community, but rarely from Wix. I tried Discord, but it’s not much better.
Wix desperately needs a system for quickly providing advanced users (developers) with support. They need knowledgeable DevRel-type people whose entire job is to engage with developers, answer their questions, etc. Maybe they have such people, but if so I haven’t met them.
I’m an experienced developer (Ex-Google) who started out surpirsed and delighted with Wix’s dev capabilities. But after six months of frustration I’m thinking of going back to building web apps from scratch.
What a shame. So much potential.
