Wix editor x to wix studio SEO

Question:
Hi guys,

I’m looking to remake our website on the new wix studio website however, my concern is that upon doing this, it will mess with the SEO of the website, does anyone have any experience with this?

What are you trying to achieve:
Currently, I’ve been working on remaking the website on the new studio platform albeit with some slight changes as it’s a bit difficult to make a 1:1 copy of the sight and also want to introduce a more efficient design to the site.

Additional information:
Currently my website is ranked 2nd on google search in my country and this would be a major loss to have to build this back up again if it’s even possible to do so and so I have been refraining from migrating to the new editor and making a new site on it.

I’m no expert in the area, so it maybe worth consulting with someone who specializes in SEO - but from what I’ve read previously about site migrations in general, it’s best practice to keep as much the same as possible.

Things like:

  • URL structures of pages
  • Meta Descriptions and Titles
  • On page content and text
  • Text tags (e.g. H1, H2 etc)
  • Domain
  • Structured Data

There’s probably more, but these are the things that come to mind first.
