  • More customization when creating Zoom links for meetings on event creation. I was unable to switch off the waiting room (which is possible when I create a meeting directly from Zoom)
  • Multi currency support would be really amazing (in a similar way as Wix Stores)
  • On the event page, could there be an option for event images to fit rather than crop but with a transparent background instead of a colored rectangle?

Hey!

Thanks a lot for your feedback. We will take these in our list.
I have also sent you a follow up email, so to better understand your requests and needs.

Many thanks once again.

Best wishes,
Kristina

Hi Kristina,

I have already created quite a good bit of feedback for Wix Events, which seems to have gone unnoticed.

Check it out here > https://community.wix.com/partners/forum/feature-requests/feedback-wix-events-seating-plan-feature

Hi @kristinasa ,

I have some feedback in relation to the way Wix Events is handling refunds and ticket cancellations. The app is really not geared up for this at all, and is a big complaint I always get from clients of ours, who are processing £100k+ every few months. It is absolutely critical that things change as soon as possible regarding this.

So what is the issue?

Right now, there is no way to refund a single ticket or even a full order natively within the Wix Events dashboard. Currently you must go to the ‘Orders’ tab within the event, click on an order and there is a text which says ‘Refund order’. Clicking this opens a new tab and takes you to the payment within the Wix Payment dashboard.

But this is not good. Why?

  1. It is opening a new tab, taking us away from the Wix Events dashboard experience.

  2. On the Wix Payments dashboard, yes, you can click Refund and enter a custom amount to make a partial payment (if you are only wanting to refund the cost of 1 out of 3 tickets), but this can easily be open for mistakes.

  3. The tickets within the Wix Events dashboard remain, and do not get cancelled no matter what you do within the Wix Payment dashboard because the experience is not fully integrated.

What do I propose?

The experience here should be flawless, effortless and fully communicated to the ticket buyer.

Inside the Wix Events ticket ‘Order’ we should have the ability to refund the full order, and on each of the tickets purchased, refund them individually.

Let’s say Mr Jones has purchased 5 tickets but now he wishes to cancel 1 of those tickets, I would like to go into the ‘Orders’ tab, open his order and find the ticket he wishes to cancel and click ‘Cancel / Refund’ - upon clicking this, a popup appears and has the details of the ticket and with how much will be refunded. There should then be a checkbox, which is checked by default to cancel the ticket and notify the ticket buyer by email of which ticket was cancelled. If this checkbox is unchecked, the ticket remains live in the order for use, but only the money has been refunded. (We need these two scenario options incase we are only wishing to refund and not cancel the ticket).

Now, let’s say Mr Jones has purchased 5 tickets but now wishes to cancel the full order due to a family emergency, we should be able to click ‘Cancel / Refund Full Order’ and the same popup as above appears, but with all tickets and total cost, and again, we get the same option to cancel the tickets / refund or only refund the money using the checkbox.

In both cases above, if we chose to cancel the tickets and refund the money, the customer should then be notified by email of which tickets in the overall order was cancelled, for their own reference and to make sure it is clearly communicated and that they will not be permitted entry to the event. Etc. Here are a couple of mockups.

I have not done any mockups for the overall order refund flow, but the same idea would apply.

I really like that Wix Events has added Pricing Options. My probem is that we sell member and non member pricing. Only the first one displays. The second is only available by clicking the “View more pricing options”. Many of our subscribers are missing this note and over paying. Can this be expanded at least to display 2 options instead of 1. Thanks,

Hey Robert,

Thanks a lot for your detailed feedback!
Refunds feature is in our planning, and we will take your insights into our notes.
Many thanks once again for your collaboration, this is highly appreciated.

Best wishes,
Kristina

Hey Douglas,

Thanks a lot for your feedback.
We will take this, so all options can be expanded.

Thanks again.

Best wishes,
Kristina

My problem is that we sell multiple tickets with different pricing. Only the first one displays. The second and third are only available by clicking the “View more pricing options”. Many of our subscribers are missing this note and contacting us to ask about other tickets available. Can this be expanded at least to display 3 options instead of 1 soon? It would be so helpful. Thanks,

  • We need the ability for users to add a donation on top of their ticket purchase.

  • Is it possible to do tiered pricing? I don’t know if it is

Webinars (Live Video) is a great feature. However, to have external speakers as co-hosts, you have to onboard those users as site user with a role having a specific permission level: “Manage Events”.
That one is too broad as it allows the external speaker, to add, edit and view all events and mess with them.
Are you planning to better accomodate external co-hosts within Wix Event Live Videos (webinars)?
My suggestion is to add a more granular permission level allowing only viewing and joining a Live video. See here:

Hello,

  1. Please, please, please ADD Gift Cards for Events! This is the single mostly likely thing to move the needle for us… and customers ask constantly for this feature.
  2. Please allow customizable tickets fees to be added separately to the order at check-out… like most event/ticket venues do. Similar to the way the current TAX feature works.
    Many thanks!
