Considering that ‘Harmony’ is a new platform that Wix are hoping we adopt/embrace, you make it extremely hard to connect with the team to share thoughts and feedback! I can find no specific contact info for this topic on your contact page and even Aria is unhelpful. Some major flaws in communication there. We deserve better if we’re trialling a new system we’re expected to adopt and embrace!
Anyway, I’ve decided to test the Wix Harmony Editor for a client project and have some important workflow needs and UX feedback:
- Share for Review (client workflow)
-
“Share for Review” must be available in Wix Harmony Editor, matching the behavior of the classic Wix Editor, because my existing clients are already used to that flow and expect the same review experience here.
-
The client should be able to view, comment, and formally approve the site in this review mode.
-
The client should not be able to edit the site or access the dashboard; the review link should behave exactly like a live, published site from the client’s perspective, only with added review/feedback abilities.
- Button hover design controls
- Button design controls should include full hover styling. For each button, it should be possible to set different colours for default and hover states (background, border, and text), instead of being limited to a single colour that never changes on hover.
- “Add Elements” UX
- The “Add elements” side column is not intuitive or pleasant to use. It feels cumbersome as a user experience and makes it harder to quickly find and insert common elements (such as buttons, text, images, and sections). Adding elements while designing should feel faster, clearer, and more streamlined.
I feel these points are all important for a professional client-service workflow and are currently blockers or friction points in Harmony.
Thank you for considering these improvements.
(I was going to feed back some positives but trying to find a way to connect with you has dampened my enthusiasm).
