Wix Harmony feedback

Considering that ‘Harmony’ is a new platform that Wix are hoping we adopt/embrace, you make it extremely hard to connect with the team to share thoughts and feedback! I can find no specific contact info for this topic on your contact page and even Aria is unhelpful. Some major flaws in communication there. We deserve better if we’re trialling a new system we’re expected to adopt and embrace!

Anyway, I’ve decided to test the Wix Harmony Editor for a client project and have some important workflow needs and UX feedback:

  1. Share for Review (client workflow)
  • “Share for Review” must be available in Wix Harmony Editor, matching the behavior of the classic Wix Editor, because my existing clients are already used to that flow and expect the same review experience here.

  • The client should be able to view, comment, and formally approve the site in this review mode.

  • The client should not be able to edit the site or access the dashboard; the review link should behave exactly like a live, published site from the client’s perspective, only with added review/feedback abilities.

  1. Button hover design controls
  • Button design controls should include full hover styling. For each button, it should be possible to set different colours for default and hover states (background, border, and text), instead of being limited to a single colour that never changes on hover.
  1. “Add Elements” UX
  • The “Add elements” side column is not intuitive or pleasant to use. It feels cumbersome as a user experience and makes it harder to quickly find and insert common elements (such as buttons, text, images, and sections). Adding elements while designing should feel faster, clearer, and more streamlined.

I feel these points are all important for a professional client-service workflow and are currently blockers or friction points in Harmony.

Thank you for considering these improvements.

(I was going to feed back some positives but trying to find a way to connect with you has dampened my enthusiasm).

Hey @ed11! Firstly, thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts and experience - the forum is a great place for these types of discussions, as well as the normal troubleshooting, and I’m happy to share this topic with the team

There’s some valuable feedback here, and I’ll make sure it makes it’s way to the right people - would also love to hear some of the positives too!

I agree. If I had known Wix Harmony did not allow for client feedback, I would have never used it. I spoke with support at WIX and they couldn’t even help me. I am beyond frustrated because I spent time creating a site that the client cannot review prior to publishing. Now I may need to recreate the site all over again in the classic editor. This is a HUGE oversight on the part of WIX.

I’m having a similar experience in many cases while building and then refining my website. I feel very strongly that this service was rushed to market, as it does not contain all the functionality of the original editor, and even worse the ai does not perform as requested VERY often and feels more like a test-version than a final product. It’s a new service and DESPARATELY needs the ability to provide feedback easily on what’s not working properly, or what used to work in the traditional editor and now is impossible. The marketing and user flow didn’t make any mention of decreased functionality for using this editor and then it becomes too late to switch over when you have a huge sunk cost of time/energy/money in creating your site.

I was impressed with the Harmony Editor. but I’m on this thread because I was frustrated with the inability to invite feedback. In my case, I’m working with a friend and I can invite her as a collaborator. Hopefully that will help. But I realize this isn’t the case with professionals. So yes, implement the feedback capability ASAP!
