This thread is locked for now - It’s chock full of great questions and answers! Enjoy!
I built lots of website in my account… problem is, it will struck when browsing that website in mobile… why so? when that will be solved…
Yeah, the mobile UI works really bad. I hope wix team is doing something for it. Are you?
Are any of the below on your plans?
-Pinning strips on screen
-‘’ scrollable repeaters ‘’ Basically a repeater that has a fixed max height and if more elements exist instead of expanding more, the user will be able to scroll (think of the Facebook messages ‘’ box’’ where the messages are displayed.).
-Pinning elements on mobile.
-auto - adjust a text to a strip column max width.
-having a repeater within a column fully stretch (just like it would stretch on the screen, but instead stretch to the columns width. Which means on bigger screens it would display more items on the same line and on smaller screens less items.
-Gradient backgrounds on strips
-Gradient palette (just like you have on the new buttons so we can save our gradients.
-Pined items with % and not fixed amounts.
Any chance we’re gonna be able to Override The Default Text Selection Color (With CSS or other method)?
::selection { background: #ffb7b7; /* WebKit/Blink Browsers */ } ::-moz-selection { background: #ffb7b7; /* Gecko Browsers */ }
How long do Will it take for responsive editor
Hi I’m a web developer and I use mainly corvid so I have the following question:
-
Will it be possible to tweak every options of components from corvid ? I wish for the components API to be accessible from corvid in order to improve user experience and interaction possibilities.
-
Will it ever be possible to dynamically insert/move/delete element from Corvid? I wish to do that without relying on repeater to have more freedom
-
Do you have a roadmap you can share about the upcoming components?
-
What is the status of the local editor project ( https://support.wix.com/en/article/corvid-working-with-the-local-editor )? Do you have any plan on starting the beta? I really wish to used it but i’m too afraid it will broke something on my clients’ website to use at the moment.

When working with data, how does the following options do ? How would you rank performance wise? (if out of scope, plz let us know who could bring the answer)
wixData
Dataset
WixWindow.rendering.env to preload data in the server rendering.
use getRouterData
Here are some idea to improve the editor
-
Editor shortcut to insert element :It would be cool to have shortcut in the editor to insert most used elements like title, text, stripe, image,… that would speed up development time! something like
ctrl+k → t to insert to insert titlectrl+k → s to insert a stripe… -
Have partner mode for the editor : It would removing all the sugar coat for unprofessional developer. It would clear the UI and ease our navigation through component. Here some idea:
removing commercial banners.
disabling novice warning.
Have cleaned(without default value) component like media gallery, repeater
Remove the many example of component customization (tons of buttons, repeaters, …) those are great if you have no inspiration but we, most of the time, customize our component ourselves and having those in the way do not bring anything. -
Possibility to add personal “directory” of collections : Like the directories for Wix apps but for organizing our collections
When will paid plans be customisable
You know that one is a hard one to answer. The answer is: Soon. (Please don’t hit me)
Is it possible to set up a documentation library with DETAILED documentation for each WIx product, and 3rd party product that the 3rd party wants to add, and the Wix editor? Too often I find the doc is very basic and does not help to understand other feature/function or resolve problems.
Why is there no calendar view (like a wall calendar ) for Wix Events? This would help to see al events quickly…then drill down on any one event to the event page for reg/tickets.
Good morning, Brett
Is it possible to utilize Wix Corvid without knowing code?
If not- are any intense training courses available either online or in person at a corporate Wix Office?
Will it be possible to have a Wix Editor Mega Menu instead of the current one that only allow one submenu?
Hey Daniel - This isn’t technically an editor related questions - The team will not know how to answer this, but I might know who to poke for you.
I recently had an opportunity to find something very “gluggy” about Wix stores. When adding variants the system does not add individual variant pricing up for a total price. Instead, we must make a specific price for each variant. This means if I have 3 variants for 20 products I must create 180 different pricing schemes. Why not set the price per variant and let the system add up all pricing (i.e.a $10 t-shirt, XL - adds $2, in gold - adds $1.00, with large logo- adds $4 for a total price of $17.00
Hey David! This is an awesome question, but not related to the Editor No worries, I’ll make sure to pass it along to the right team!
A big help to me for my clients would be a quarterly or semi annual on-line meeting of Agency Partners where Wix explains its next 3 or 6 mth road-map as well as long term road-map.
We do that now with Round Tables - but perhaps something bit more encompassing? Do you tune into the round tables?
There are no such plans I know of currently, but really appreciate the feedback and will bring into consideration.
