Wix Internal Runtime Error: 'unable to load initial data'

Behavior:
This has just started happening within the couple of weeks. The page does not load. Just a black page. Opening Developer Tools in Chrome browser reveals the error. (see screen shot). A page RELOAD “sometimes” works other times not.

Things tried:
Cleared ALL browser data/cookies and cache
Shutdown and Restart PC

Page has been running fine for months… albeit it does take about 5 to 8 seconds to load, but it always did until very recently.

Easily reproduced by clicking “the Registry” from top menu bar and click View/Search The Registry. About 25% of the time it will fail. To log this post, I ran the test. First time page loaded, the second time it hung. Developer Tools showed the same error.

Can someone from WIX please look into this? I logged a support ticket but it was kicked back because the page has “wix code”. I simply do not buy their assessment that is is code. Code either WORKS or it DOES NOT WORK. It will not behave intermittently. There is something going on with the servers… “onreadystatestagechange” indicates to me that the database connection is being lost. As stated above, most times a reload will resolve the issue. Again, cache and cookies have been reset/cleared. This page is heavily used by my user base and the behavior is not sitting well with them!

Seems to work fine. All I see are a bunch of beautiful Vegas. OK - so I gotta admit… cool site and beautiful cars, but I’ve always been a fan of the 55/56 T-Bird. Nice cars though.

Getting back to the topic… I tried this in Safari, Chrome, and Firefox and all is good. I also loaded the site in the Wix Code editor with no problems.

Thanks Yisrael for checking this out. I just did a Chrome update. I typically have 18 or 20 tabs open in Chrome, maybe I need more RAM on the computer? Any other suggestions?

I really don’t know what to say. Have you tried other browsers, computers, locations? How about friends, neighbors, or Ford owners?

IMHO, it’s probably not a Wix Code issue. Maybe it’s a network issue, or some other sinister system issue. I would suggest contacting the Wix support team and see what they say.

Thanks, I did contact the support team. Once they saw Wix Code in the picture they kicked it over the fence, told me to post to the forum. I will try some other computers.
