Wix Marketplace Dashboard CRM Integration

Trying to create an automation for new leads and add a dynamic value for the leads first name in the email automation but there is no option to select from @brett @sheyla

I created an Automation, saved it and published it and it is not showing @sheyla @brett

Yep, I’m getting several reports of this. I’ve alerted the team.

@brett Thanks for the reply. Just understand, this a major flaw and a basic of any successful response to a lead. I understand change as well as anyone from decades of working for major corporations but I can tell you with certainty, had the developer spoken to the people who use the system day in and day out this would not have been missed. I am always extremely positive about Wix and your great team but I have had to turn my leads off for two days now as I try to figure out the best way to make sure the new CRM does not adversely effect my conversion rate, which I’ve been told is one of the best.

I was part of the beta and had set up an automatic email to be sent to the the lead as soon as they were matched with me, this is in MY website ascend dashboard.

Is this still sending or do I need to set this up again in the new PARTNER ascend dashboard?

It was the same way with the beta…hopefully it will be resolved with this new full roll out. Curious to see admin responses for this.

There is no change as of yet for you. Because of your beta circumstances, we will have to create a migration path for you in the near future. For now carry on.

@brett Support team is working on it…My understanding is that migration will be done soon, until then business as usual

I think it’s great that Wix is trying to make it easier for partners to grow!

Unfortunately for those partners that already have established systems and automations set up in a separate CRM are completely left out to dry. I feel like I am being forced to use this CRM that honestly isn’t working too well. (I’ve just been kicked off the marketplace for expired leads that I couldn’t contact due to the proxy emails.

Even after using the CRM to contact one of these leads (Since I can’t email the leads directly through the tool I’m using and I was waiting on support to contact me back), the system fails to label leads as contacted once you send them a message. - at least this is what I am experiencing.

I guess the reason for me creating this post is to see how partners that already have systems set up are responding to the new changes and how are you contacting leads now that you don’t have their email?

@Brett Haralson Is there a way to get a lead’s email address?

Hi @info8679 I’ll try to answer all your questions. Apologies in advance if I missed anything.

  1. Currently, Ascend only supports sending 1 email template via automations. Customizing based on lead type, location, etc. is something we will consider adding as an advance feature.

  2. Yes, you can continue copying and pasting emails into your external system. As you wrote, it will reach the client in their email inbox

  3. @sheyla already answered about the connected Gmail account. Please note that with your gmail account connected the sender is still “You Name < reply@crm.wix.com >”

@raeanne It’s an advanced feature we plan to add. Thanks for your patience.

What happens to a contact when I cancel as I have leads on a regular basis contact me 2-4 weeks after I have cancelled the lead wanting to hire me.

I have received two leads this morning but was not notified by email that I had a lead, I only saw them by manually checking. All my desktop notifications are turned on.
I submitted Ticket ID. 650522835

Following out of interest.

Hi Aaron, hope you’re doing well.

When you can, please provide me with your support ticket number. In regards to the system not labeling leads as contacted after you messaged them, did you reach out to them via proxy email? In your own email? Did you reach out to these client’s real email?

Thank you for raising a ticket Steven. Has the problem been resolved? From the ticket, it looks like it might’ve been a propagation issue after a switch in DNS records. Did the MX records update successfully?

@hello42115

Hi Luis!

Proxy emails work just like regular emails. You can reply to your leads via the Wix Inbox or your own external mailbox and they will still be marked as ‘contacted’.

If you mark a lead as ‘not interested’ the contact is automatically deleted. I hope this helps! You can read more about what happens to contacts in the FAQ above.

@stevenjose Thank you Steve but everything is working now and I am back on the Wix Marketplace. I wasn’t using the proxy email because I did’t realize that I could still contact the lead with that email address so they were expiring. I also wasn’t using the Wix CRM because I already have all of my automation and workflows setup in a different CRM. Thanks again
