Wix Marketplace Eligibility is Opening Soon

You heard right - eligible partners will soon be able to apply to the Marketplace. This was all planned to be later this year and included with other partner-based products in a larger package (I’ve eluded to this for months now), but due to the recent world situation Wix decided to open this up a bit sooner for our Partners.

The minimum requirement to be eligible to apply for the Marketplace is 20 live premiums. If you are already in the Marketplace the only requirement is that you continue to meet the standards. If you need a refresher as to how you will be measured you can watch the round table , blog article , or official marketplace guidelines . If you do not meet the requirements yet you can reach out by email to the partner team (partnercommunitydeals@wix.com) and they will discuss potential options for eligibility acceleration.

Keep in mind that the Marketplace is only one of many great partner-focused products you can expect in a larger package soon. We are really excited to show you. You are going to love it.

premium site that you created exclusively or does this include sites you redid and still contribute to?

Hello there!

This applies to active premiums within your account. Soon, we will have an update regarding sites you may have transferred away or are a contributor to

Competitors will come… Not good for business! We have spent few years to grow our reputation and business, and a bit affraid of what will happen…

We recently published an in-depth blog that tackles how you can stand out in the Marketplace. It offers some great tips that you might find useful

Not that good for all of us Already in the MarketPlace as it turns that we get lots of requests with a conversion rate lower than 1%. This means conversion rate will go even lower.

Please consider if you open this, that you also REDUCE TO MAX 3 partners that receive each request submitted by Wix Users . This way we all get better chances to convert.

You should not keep sending each submission to 5 partners.

It’s good feedback. Thanks.

Hi Malanis!

Thank you for your feedback regarding the number of partners that leads are sent to.

We recently had a round table with the Marketplace team where we discussed how you can increase your conversion rate by following a few guidelines. Here’s a recap we published about that discussion, as well as a link to the actual discussion if you’d prefer to watch it instead.

Thanks, @brett . It’s good for you all to hear about our user feedback. And yes, many Wix users complaint that they are overwhelmed about the number of partners that reach them.

Definitively 5 is a very high number. They get bombarded rather than assisted.
This is a major turn down.

Please reduce to 2 or 3 the number of partners that each Submission is sent to.
It will help all of us and them

@malanis Thank you :slight_smile: We :yellow_heart:user feedback!

Hi @malanis , i wrote an article with the same constation like you… 8 month ago, and i’m waiting…
