Make mandatory for people making request on marketplace to give phone number and system checks if this number is valid or not by sending authentication code on sms. This way only those who need partners will submit request. And half of spam leads will go away. And partners will get proper phone number to contact.
And Something to make understand more clearly that partners are not Wix Support.
I understand that the marketplace is only unlockable when you reach Icon Level. However, having started my agency only a few months ago, this seems like a long way off. I appreciate that the marketplace is only one way of finding leads, but I feel that by the time I get to that level, I’ll be getting my leads else where.
Are there any plans for the marketplace to support agencies and freelancers who are just starting out on their journey, whose budgets don’t allow them to fast track to Icon level?
I have an agency in USA and another one in MEXICO. Should I open 2 marketplace accounts?
When specifying my agency location in the marketplace I can only choose one location.
This leaves me out of the other country leads due to the fact that I’m not a good match according to marketplace algorithm
I know I have spoken already about email masking new rule. Brett has kindly answered that “there’s no going back to original leads email address format”. I only wish Marketplace Team can find a better solution to this, because replies I’m sending through automations end up in the PROMOTIONS or SPAM mailboxes, making our replies invisible to our leads.
Perhaps displaying again their original email address and making them tick a box accepting that their email will be shared? A workaround that can be legal, yet functional. Thanks!
I really wish I wouldn’t have to do all the math for all my 100+ products. In Ecwid I would just input the price per fee and the price would automatically add up when the customer inputs their choices.
Overall lead management is cumbersome. So many non-responsive leads end up sitting in the project feed & to cancel each one, one at a time, is very time-consuming. — Would be great if there was a way to have bulk actions in canceling client leads that have never responded.
When a lead is marked as “In progress” have the ability to request permission for a role for the client’s website, then the client gets an email to accept the request.
This will solve a lot of trouble explaining to each client how to send an invitation for a specific role to their website, as a Wix Partner we should the ability to request for a role on a client’s website.
Implement country code into the phone number field section, so the customer can choose their country code they can enter their phone number easily, so we can directly make a call to the clients & can check if they are in available in WhatsApp messenger too. It will match the exact priority leads and will get converted into projects easily. Most of the clients simply entering the phone number once we try to reach out not getting it.
Please add the currency change option in the price quote itself, otherwise every time we need to change into the settings section. Very difficult to change each and every time to do it.

Can the team share any details of updates they are working on for the marketplace?
Will we be able to delete multiple projects at once in the future? Currently the system is very slow when having to delete old projects and this feature has been requested a lot.
Will we be able to format our email text with more options in the future? For example adding a hyperlink to text, basic text editing features like in Gmail (bold text, underlining, changing font colour etc) also adding our own email signatures?

When someone submits for assistance via the Marketplace and they specifically want a redesigned website, I’ve noticed there is never a link included to their existing website. I thought that it’s possible the client just may not be submitting it within the form but I had a lead recently that contacted me both via Marketplace and my own website. Through my own website they submitted a url to their existing website and on the Marketplace lead they did not. If it isn’t part of the submission form currently then I strongly suggest adding it back in.
When I currently email a lead through my inbox there is a section to the right of the screen that displays the clients info. It would really help if this section included the information from the lead such as the type of service they have requested. I could then skip having to click on the lead section and only scroll through the unread contacts on my inbox.
Recently (within the last 1-2 months) I have noticed more leads replying to my emails. I’ve also noticed at the same time that there is less info collected from the client. This hasn’t been an issue and I apprecate the tweaking in order to help convert the leads.
Please make phone number mandatory. Another thing; When a customer that I have worked with before and added to my profile comes with a new request, I cannot ask him ratings and comments about the new job I have done. I get a warning that you have already added this site.
Hi! Customer reviews contain many inactive/outdated URLs. Will the URL hiding functionality ever be implemented? Personally, I would like to be able to hide the URL for some of the reviews. Thanks.
I understand that the Marketplace assigns leads to an X number of partners simultaneously. What’s that number today? What partners are getting the most leads? From the services requested, which ones are converting the most?
@noahlovell We need some way to ensure that users who submit Marketplace requests are being matched with agencies and freelancers who have experience building on Wix. This is the reason for the Icon level requirement. At this time, there’s no plan to move away from some requirement of that type. In the case of Velo and Editor X, we do offer separate certification processes for Partners who have the technical skill to handle those types of projects.
@melanieedwards This is something on the roadmap. Based on my research of the need, it’s not simply cancelling, but also archiving these leads so that they don’t clutter the list. We’re working on it!
