Very slow loading

Within the last 10 days or so my website is really slow to load.

I’ve ensured all images are optimised with photoshop, using 2 databases max and I have deleted a number of items such as strips etc.

It is a real estate website & we are looking to add minimum 500 properties. I am really concerned that this speed issue will affect sales. We have already had comments from clients that the website is slow to load.

The home page images are fuzzy as soon as you load the website & takes a few seconds before they are clear. It looks very unprofessional.

I have looked through the forum and followed tips in the past but I don’t know what else to do. Clients are preferring to check out our Facebook page rather than the website at the moment.

Would really appreciate some expert advice.

Thank you. Contacted support and they gave me some excellent advice and website is now loading a lot faster. Fingers crossed it stays that way as we add more items to the databases! Thanks again

How can you get in touch with them?

I see only the main support area with topics, no contact…

Hi they don’t make it easy. You’ll need to follow this link: https://support.wix.com/en/article/contacting-wix-customer-care-for-support and then choose options until you get to the point where they ask you how you would like to get in touch and then choose submit ticket. You should receive an email confirmation after submitting. Good luck!
