I’m posting as a Wix Premium user running an international, multilingual website:

We were recently informed of a Wix Premium price increase, justified by Wix as part of continuous platform improvements and enhanced security.

However, from a professional international SEO and business perspective, several key limitations remain unresolved, especially for multilingual websites targeting global audiences.

Core issue: Multilingual SEO still incomplete

One essential feature is still missing:

localized URL slugs per language.

This currently means:

  • URLs cannot be fully optimized per language (e.g. /fr/boutique vs /en/shop)

  • Multilingual SEO remains structurally limited

  • International visibility and relevance in search engines are impacted

  • Optimization for international sales remains incomplete

This feature was announced in the past, yet it is still unavailable.

Professional concern

While price increases may be understandable, they raise legitimate questions when:

  • Announced core SEO features are still missing

  • International optimization remains limited

  • Other platforms already provide these capabilities

For professional users relying on international SEO and cross-border visibility, this is a critical point.

Questions for the Wix team

  • Is there a clear and reliable timeline for multilingual localized URL slugs?
