Working in Wix Studio. I have an issue that arises multiple times and it makes design impossible. Wondering if anybody else has experienced thi: After I resize or move elements, they still stay connected to my cursor. I can click, double click, command click, but no matter what I do the element still reacts. So, if I move my cursor to the undo arrow, the element either follows the cursor off the canvas or massively resizes, depending on what I was trying to do. Using keyboard shortcuts doesn’t work, and the only thing that gets me out is closing the page. I’m working on an iMac Pro sequia 15.5. It. happens in Chrome and Safari. Searched the boards but only get articles about adding cursor effects. I feel like pulling my hair out. But I’m bald, so can’t even do that.
Thanks for any help.
This seems like a bug. I would report it here -
I’m having the same issue, it happened repeatedly while screen sharing with client today. This is a major bug!
Yes this is SO ANNOYING
My project has been delayed so much because this making building pages impossible
Just flagged this with the team, since I’ve seen a few people mention it this week.
I would highly recommend that you open a bug report following the link that @Dan_Suhr shared, as it’ll help the ream greatly in resolving the issue ![]()
Thanks for raising it!
March 2026, and this issue is still happening. No matter what I do, the element will not disconnect from the cursor. This builder is insufferable. How is it still this slow and laggy and so complicated???
This is the first time I have heard about this (or experienced myself) since it was resolved last year. If this is happening for you, I’d recommend opening it as a bug report - Wix Studio - How to report a bug
