as the editor is browser based it more depends on your internet connection. In saying that th eStudio editor has been a bit laggy and buggy over the last week, but is better today.
I would upgrade anyways as a 2nd gen i5 is a pretty old processor.
All depends on your budget. I run 32gb ram with 13th gen i7 desktop and an intel core ultra i9 32gb laptop
If budget is an issue, how about considering a PC with an Intel N100 processor? They are very affordable. If you’re working from home, a mini PC without a display might be a good option. I haven’t personally tried running Wix Studio on it, so I can’t say for sure how well it would perform, but I’ve heard that the Intel N100 has processing power roughly equivalent to an 8th-generation Core i5. In any case, a new PC will definitely save you time on tasks! Every time I realize afterward that lost time was far more valuable than the money spent, I regret not upgrading sooner. So, I highly recommend replacing your PC as soon as possible!
I’ve been using it for a long time as well, but since the 2nd generation Core i5 is about 13 ~ 14 years old, I believe it has definitely reached its limit!
