Unfortunately, when using manual payments, wix ticketing is not usable. It doesn’t differentiate paid and unpaid in the way the response emails work.
The method:
- Design the ticket and email that customer receives for ordering tickets
- Customer orders and receives bank transfer details
- Customer pays by bank transfer
- We note the payment and mark the customer as paid. However, if we do this, it send the same email as the order. The system should allow for a different email with the ticket sent with it.
instead, I have to:
- close registration
- redesign the ticket,
- redesign the email
- mark the customer paid which send the redesigned email and tickets
- After marking all paid cistomers, redesign the ticket as an unpaid order
- redesign the email
- re-open registration.
Manual payment is a no-go for ticketing. The wix system is not adaptable to it. I prob need to downgrade my subsciption until they can implement proper procedure for manual pay ticketing.
