#Wixstores setup of a business account?

After finishing my end of the #wixstores website design, my client said she could handle the rest, she started getting orders for her book www.sheismebook.com and within a week and a half she took in $1,500.00 in orders, shipped the books to her buyers, then learned from Wix, that she didn’t have a business account set up, and Wix will not transfer the money to her PayPal account. I assumed my client already had a business account… any ideas on what type of business account she should open (the simpler, the better). I will write her to ask her to contact Wix again to extend the the deadline to October 13th, to give her time after she returns to NYC on September 30. Wix will return all her income to the buyers by September 13th, if she doesn’t have a business account by then… what to do???

From your description i guess the issue is not from Wix. She should make and connect a Paypal business account(instead of a Paypal Normal account ) to wix and everything will be solved.

Hello to my fellow forum members, I’m hoping someone can put in a good word for my client and open her account to collect her income from her book sales… (she originally didn’t know what she was doing, it was her first time hooking things up for her new business), and below is her reply to me, a few minutes ago… how can we make this happen, please help, if you can. Hi Tar,
I did set up a PayPal business account, but after spending another two hours with WIX on the phone I was told that this will only work for future payments,
not the $1500 awaiting me.

Hi Tar,
First of all ask her to use a PC to setup things like this. Secondly ask her to login to the normal Paypal account from PC and check what is showing there. If nothing is helping contact Wix support and explain your issue.

Thank you… I showed her how to sign-up for a PayPal business account and she did it and then to call support again… she did, and they said it is too late, but going forward, any new orders will go to her new PayPal business account.
