A bug in the Editor X Grid

I use the calculation feature of the Grid in Editor X to compensate for the Editor X banner at the top, to give a full 100vh experience. However I’ve always faced this very annoying bug while using the calculation feature of the grid.

I initially set my section’s minimum height to 100vh. Then I apply a grid. Then I Edit the grid and in the height, I use (100vh - 50px). The moment I click done, the screen starts to shrink and it keeps shrinking until the section has fully disappeared in the editor. However this works perfectly while in preview and published versions of the site. Also, this bug occurs when there is only one section on the whole page, with no other sections above or below it. Hi @pratham ,

Is this still happening for you? I tried what you showed in the video but for me the section didn’t shrink.

Hi @carmelsc ,

Yes, unfortunately it is still happening. It shrinks every time you click on the grey/white space on the section and then clicking on the section again.

I believe the solution for now is set make sure that the sections don’t equal less than 100VH.

Hi Roberto, the 100vh was a test… another one… i tried everything. With less, with more , with auto … everything :slight_smile:

Today, is going better :slight_smile: … Nothing yet … and using the same view ports as yesterday … i took notes in trying to figure it out . But please be aware that this is happening … not often but every one in a while this problem keeps coming back … not sure what is triggering this but something it does :). I’ll keep u guys informed :slight_smile: … maybe at some pint we manage to see why this is happening. Thank you and have a great day !

If the issue keeps persisting, would suggest reaching out to customer support so they can check further and forward it to the team if necessary.
