Adding contacts back in who marked email previously as spam (they changed their mind!)

Question:
I have a few subscribers across various Wix sites for myself and clients who marked Wix marketing email spam, but then either joined up as a paid subscriber or entered a giveaway or simply asked to receive email again, yet Wix won’t let me email them. Am I missing a way to “fix” a contact who had a change of heart?

I want to reach contacts who NO longer view my email as spam…

I’m having the same problem, but in my case it’s my own email that is marked as “spam complaint”, and as the website admin I would not have reported any emails from Wix as spam. Adding every domain I could think of to my safe senders list does no good. It seems as though I’ll have to create a new email address as there’s nothing I can do to remove that tag and begin receiving emails from my website.
