I am currently in the process of setting up my coaching business which will have 2 different plans.
Lets call them Membership 1 and Membership 2.
In Membership 1 we will let customers be able to cancel at any time.
In Membership 2 we want the cancellation period to be e.g. 3 months.
Questions:
Membership 1:
I have found the setting for the Pricing Plan stated “Allow customers to cancel their subscription” and it is configured to Recurring Payment on Monthly basis.
Question:
If a customer cancels a subscription in the middle of the month how is it effecting that current months subscription? Are the subscriptions configured so that they charge the customer in advance? If a customer buys the service the 25/4 and it is a monthly subscription will that subscription then be charged the 25/4 and run until 25/5? And if the customer cancels the subscription in the middle of the month will it then stop the renewal of next month but continue the ongoing month?
Membership 2:
The reason for why I do not want this membership to be “cancel when you want” is because it is a bigger commitment both for us and the customer. So I want to have longer cancelation notice period. But as I can’t find that I thought that I need to have a longer subscription time, e.g. 3 months but then I found that it is not possible to do automatic renewal? So it leaves me in a little bit of a tricky situation.
So I want to be able to offer customers Membership 2 on subscription but I need to have longer cancelation time then the same month. How do I solve this?
