[1] - is i miss something or is it currently not possible to connect the product variant image trough csv ?
[2] - for product variants, is it possible to set surcharge for every single variant option instead of whole variant ?

in above screenshot, i was thinking that placing the variant image in variant row in productImageUrl column will make those image attached to the variant, but when i import the csv and open the product page its not, its not even loaded in the product page, so i just place all the image in single row ( product row ) with delim “;”
About Field Types
You can import any field type into your database collection, except for the following:
Fields that link to dynamic pages.
System fields other than the ID field.
Document fields, unless they link to documents that already exist in your media manager.
Image fields, unless they link to images that already exist in your media manager.

i think this would be great if deafult visibliity for variants is “false” and the stock is OutOfStock by default so that we just need to input the available variants rather than filling all variants

i want to sell product Choice1Blue, Choice1Yellow, Choice2Magenta
currently, if i don’t provide any data on variant visibility / stock, it will be displayed or recognized as “available” / “visible” /. inStock, this makes me must fill all kind of variant / all possible combination of “Choice” and “Color” then set the visibility for each options combination which makes 1 product with variant can have so much lines, means so much work ( line 1 - 7 )
i would request if the variant’s visibility data is not provided in CSV it would be recognized as “unavailable” / “outofStock” / “hidden” so that i just need to fill some available combination of “Choice” and “Color” ( line 9 - 12 )
as you can see just want to sell Choice1Blue, Choice1Yellow, Choice2Magenta ( 3 Variants items ) i need to input 7 lines / row with current wix’s CSV recognizing system
but with my requested CSV recognizing system it just need 4 lines / row
that is just about 1 product with 2 option choice and 3 color, how about a product with 10 choice and 10 color ?
we will have so much work. this would be 10x10 / 100 lines
how about 1 product with 3 kind of options ( ex: 10 choice and 10 color and 10 size ) ?
or maybe 4 kind of options ? this would so much lines
so i hope wix team can consider my request on csv recognizing system to set blank variant data( variant data that is not provided in csv ) as “unavailable”/ “outOfStock” / “unvisible”, this can save time who have ecommerce website in wix
or greater idea is if there a switch / option to recognize blank data as available or recognize blank data as unavailable

i know this not a corvid related but i think the wix programmers / designers who configure about how wix’s work will be here
did anyone every respond to number one? I am faceing the same thing, I have about 2000 products and would like to easily connect the variants to thier images via the CSV file rather than individually.
Does anyone know a work around having individual images based on variant? I’ve been trying to play around with either making a shop look alike with a data set and repeater (still trying to figure out how to set up “add to cart” button to pick specific variant, but once I figure out that I would probably make a button show when a specific repeater item appears) or to make an image show when there is a certain selection in the product menu (this one seems much harder since the product page changes based on all shop items making way more variables, for my example I have 300 variables per item and I have 24 items. I think if I try to do it the second way I may have to put all 7200 variations of all images on one product page)
Has anyone figured a work-around for point [1]. I have many products and its a pain to have to link all the images to the variants manually after importing them all.

Hello Wix I hope you pay some attention for this issue
I am facing the same issue here. Too many products that I am trying to export to another wix website, everything is good till I test the product options and variants, connected images to these options not working.
I compared both product tables of the old and new website it’s identical.
Plese provide a solution.
